Day 12: How do you fight blogger fatigue?
This is a really good question! As a new mom and a blogger, there have been periods where I have so much to do that I just can't fit blogging in and I start to view it more as a chore than something fun that I enjoy doing. In order to fight back at this, I think about the book I'm reading and how I get to review and talk about it on the blog. I also start thinking about new things that I can add to my blog, maybe a new feature or doing a fun post on the blog. Other times I look at other blogs and get inspired by sharing the passion of books with others. What are some things you guys do to fight blogger fatigue?
I like this Blogger Challenge idea. Wish I had known about it earlier. Could always do it at my own pace, but that involves motivation and whatnot. I suppose that gets into Blogger Fatigue. My thoughts are, I just don't post if I feel I don't have much worthwhile to say. I think I have two throwaway posts on my blog when I felt the need to put something up and didn't have the motivation to put much thought into what to say. I think the best answer may be to take a step back and just write off-blog or not at all until something worthwhile comes about.
ReplyDeleteI really love this challenge question as I love to hear what others do when they are tacking the blogging slump. I'm yet to undergo it but there are so many fantastic ideas. I love the thought of reading other blogs, by doing this I get inspired and of course those inspiration gets dumped on my own blog :D
