Bout of Books! (15.0) AND #TBRTakedown (3.0)

Bout of Books

It's Bout of Books time again!

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.  - From the Bout of Books team

One of my favorite readathons, I'm so excited to be getting my reading on. Hopefully by the time you're reading this I will have finished a chunk of pages ;) My tentative tbr is below as I'm also working on some challenges for the #TBRTakedown readathon.

Also, #TBRTakedown (3.0) is happening this week and I want to try to participate in this readathon as well. It's hosted by Shannon @ Leaning Lights. This one has challenges which I'm not sure how many challenges I'm going to complete or get to as I want to just read what I want.

The Challenges:
Book from your most recent haul (Truthwitch - as long as it gets here this week :))
Book outside your comfort zone (leaving this one open for now)
First book in a series (Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers)
Complete a series/read a sequel in a series (Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers - His Fair Assassin #2)
Read a fire color book (Grave Mercy counts with the red on the cover)
Read a non-novel item (also leaving this one open for now)

Are you participating in any of the readathons going on this week? What are you planning to read this week?

Comments

  1. I am re-reading Red Queen and so far planning to read next is Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Your picks (except Truthwitch) are unfamiliar to me but I look it up and they are great so I'm adding them to my GR. :) Sadly, I'm not interested in participating any readathon since I'm busy with school.
