OVERALL THOUGHTS
I went into this one not having any goals because I wanted to see how my reading would go and I'm quite surprised that it went really well. I think I picked a perfect trilogy to marathon which I think helped me tremendously - I loved the books so much I didn't want to stop reading them! I don't think Night Film was the best choice to read, it took me awhile because I was trying to absorb every word to figure out the mystery that it took me more time to read than my usual.
However,
I think this readathon was a success for me. My goal every time I've done this readathon is to read 5 books and while I didn't officially make that goal for myself, I still achieved it. I think going forward I'm going to continue to take a more laid back approach to readathons.
